Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to one and all.....

So today is the day we take a moment out of time to give thanks for all we are thankful for. So I will start that out..

Today I am very Thankful for the fact that DD is here to bug me and drive me nuts. It is one year ago today, that we where not sure if she would make to the next hour. One year ago today, the doctor told us, "its hour by hour that is all I can give you right"
I am also thankful for the rest of my family and the heath they have and are enjoying. I am so very thankful for the friend that got me through this year and shared her understanding with me. She, Liz, truly understands what my family means to me, even when they drive me NUTS!!

So what are you Thankful for? Don't for to take a moment out of your day, and share your thoughts and feelings with them that mean so much to you. Tell them you love them, and make sure they hear you.

I wish you all a great day of Thanks. Be wise about the food you put in your month. I don't need to worry, since I work today, and will be alone when I get home, as DD is spending it with her boys, so NO cooking or food here.

If you are traveling today. Please be safe and be aware of who is driving around you.

Mornin' Lu and Cali!  HAPPY TURKEY DAY!!!!!  Here is hoping everyone is safe, enjoying time with friends and family . . . enjoying wonderful tastes and cozy gatherings . . . enjoying life . . . and happy!

I am thankful for Miss Barb who saved our WWW file . . . and reconstructed a bunch of it since September . . . with that, I am officially putting us down for -50.2 lbs . . . MOSTLY thanks to Miss Susan who posted for the first time . . . and since I'm sick, I stuck it all in this week instead of spreading it around :D  I think most people forgot to even post lol

Our new scale arrived yesterday, so I will be able to weigh myself and join in on Weds now....let's just hope I remember.  I love 60!!!!

Well I made the day, feel ok, but I am tired and sore.  More meds for me now.  I hope that you feel better Chris, nothing worse than being old and sick!!!!  :-)

Good Morning Lu,

Sorry you have to work, but I did for so many years.  I am so happy that no more for either Doug or I.  It was always a fun day when we worked, was full of activities besides work.  Our office was full of firefighters in and out all day wishing us the best, bringing us food, or us feeding them.  Thank you for the service your provide Lu.

As for me, it is cooking all day and I can't wait.  I made a cheesecake last night, and today brings a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, with a 22 lbs turkey and I have no idea how many lbs that ham is, but it was a BIG one!  I really try not to visualize what was attached to that turkey or pig, ie heads, feet, I won't eat it if I think about it. 

I am wishing everyone a wonderful day today.  There is so much to be thankful for in life, and if you can't think of a thing, here's one for you, you woke up this morning!  Everyday is precious and we need to live life to the fullest.  It the greatest gift we are given, enjoy it,

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!! Hope everyone has a fabulous day and has lots to be thankful for!
I have a lot to be thankful for and God has truly blessed me right now. Spending the day with my Mom, her husband, and Tara in San Diego. It will be a nice quiet one and that is fine for me right now.
5 more days till my surgery and I'm desperately trying to get rid of a bad cough that I think is bronchitis or they won't do it. Please pray it ends by then.

I am so grateful to be alive and well today.  I'm grateful for all the new friends on this site and all the help I am receiving.  I have my surgery date!  It's December 29th, so after having just completed my second cataract surgery, I will start the New Year as a whole new person!  I'm very excited.

Just a quick noted to say hi. I'm at work and it has been pretty steady here this morning. It is already going to 11am. Works for me, I prefer when I am busy and the day flies by. I hope everyone has a fabulous day in what ever they are doing, with friends and family. Well, I should go and get back to work or at least pretend I am working LOL.
